Hawthorn Main Sewer Rehabilitation~ P33546
  • SFPJV have completed all tasks and actions for Stage 2.
  • Awaiting Melbourne Water to issue formal certificate.

  • Final restorations completed awaiting a confirmation from Melbourne Water that the LFI earthing will be approved.

  • Stage 2 completion date achieved on 16 July 2021.
Yan Yean WTP Upgrade~ Q04385
  • Electrical:
    • Decommissioning DFs, MCCs and cables.
  • Civil:
    • Backwash Tanks. Central Channel Connection concrete pour
    • FSA Building. Precast concrete wall panels installation
    • Delay Tank. Formwork for Mech Screen wall.
  • Underground pipework:
    • Commence concrete reinstatement and pipe installation on DN375 filter to waste line on east side of DFs
    • Backfill DN375 filter to waste line, Plant return line and Relift to GAC inlet on west side of DFs
    • Raw water inlet line. Scour installation and removal of redundant line
  • Mechanical:
    • Continue removal of chemical dosing lines
    • Removal of lime from lime silo

  • Topsoil is being placed is at 60% complete.
  • Traction on the approval of some of the CE’s is in place.
  • Melbourne Water working on getting a quantum approved in September.

Winneke Main Sub Station Switchboard Replacement ~ D10103
  • All design deliverables have been finalised and the long lead time materials have been procured.
  • 11kV SWBD Bus A outage works have been completed. The old Bus A has been decommissioned and removed from the site.
  • The DC Battery System installation works have been completed.
  • New 11kV SWBD Bus A installation works have started. The next plant wide outage will be at the end of August 202.
  • All Change Events are approved except CE01 – Solar works. The revised CE was submitted to Melbourne Water and waiting for their approval.
Youell Street Sewer Renewals ~ Q07136
  • Stage 1 achieved and all omissions and outstanding items of work completed.
  • A final technical memo to be produced detailing compliance of the liner.
  • Currently working on As- built drawings.

ETP HV-62A Switchboard & VH-LV Renewals ~ Y10307 (Q05103)

Civil Infrastructure Group (CIG) have completed:

  • Pour concrete base of cable culvert.
  • Excavation for exiting conduits next to new building.
  • Investigation – existing HV cable routes in progress.
  • Design cost for Unit Sub new location approved by Melbourne Water.
  • Meeting with ETP OPS regarding the cutover sequence completed.
  • Procurement:
    • NER delivered.
  • Change Events approval:
    • All CEs but CE03 Unit subs approved in principle – to be combined in one TCE adjustment.

  • Delfab – completed installation of cable/pipe supports around RT and Polymer building. Completed installation of mezzanine structure.
  • AMES – completed installation of thrust block and backfilled pipeline.
  • Chadoak – hydrotest successfully completed for all pipework and installation completed. Planning works for 1W tie-in in progress.
  • Comcraft – complete fit out of LV building and installation of doors.
  • Tankweld/AMES  – 100% complete for SDP pipework installation in gallery. Preparing for hydrotest. Installation team for RT site continue installation of Sludge Drying Pan Pump Station, Booster Pump Station and RDTs.
  • ADX Electrical – continue installation of cable management infrastructure in LV building, RT building and Polymer building. Planning works for switchboard installation in LV building.
  • CLQA – offsite fabrication of OCF vessels 95% complete.
  • Trivantage – switchboard FAT completed 26 July 2021.
  • Electro80 – control panels delivered to site.
ETP Waste Activated Sludge ~ Q05102
  • Hydrotesting of Tank 8 completed.
  • Hydrotest of Tank 11 & 12 on the way.
  • Procurement of major equipment continues (switchboards, instruments, scraper system, mechanical installation).
  • 90% design review completed 29 July 2021.
WTP Electrical Reliability Additional Works ~ F10133
  • 55E Lagoon control panel installation works have started.
  • The construction and commissioning plan for 55E Lagoon works has been finalised.
  • SFPJV received approval for CE13 – WTP25W SCADA Modification Works.
  • Procurement – waiting for delivery of 3 x RMUs from Eaton, 3 x Control Boxes from Electro80 and LLIs from Schneider. The contracts with ABB and Schneider for the supply and installation of LLI have been finalised.
