HSEQ Update ~ January

Given that December was a shorter month with early closure relating to Christmas shutdown, we still had over 37K hours worked for the month. Critical control inspections continued to be undertaken for all critical risk activities with 229 completed in December.

December’s toolboxes concentrated on the 6 weeks to Christmas campaign which centred on the framework behaviours leading into the holiday period. Projects also took part in an All-Staff Toolbox Event which also focused on the six framework safety behaviours and how these could be used by individuals during their work breaks i.e. in a domestic environment. Lastly, a toolbox was also delivered in the last week relating to extended site shutdowns.

The rolling 12-month TRIFR rate is 5.11. YTD is 4.36.

In June of 2023, SFP carried out Safety Culture Surveys across all its sites. This round of surveys was conducted with the participation of more than 120 individuals. The responses gathered from this survey have resulted in an overall Pro-Gen score of 89%.
