HSEQ Update ~ March

March working hours remain high with over 43k hours worked for the month.

During the month, toolbox training sessions were held on the topics of ‘plant & pedestrian interaction – know your zone’ following a series of minor plant/vehicle related damage events, as well as a Sustainability toolbox reinforcing the sustainability behaviours.

The number of adverse events reported in March has begun to stabilise following an increase in the first two months of 2024.

The rolling 12-month TRIFR rate has dropped to 4.52 following the March 2023 event no longer in the 12 month range. YTD is 5.56.

In June of 2023, SFP carried out Safety Culture Surveys across all its sites. The survey included a participation of more than 120 individuals. The responses resulted in an overall Pro-Gen score of 89%. The next survey is proposed to take place in May/June of this year.
