August saw some quality nominations come through, any of which were deserving of the win. In the end, the decision was made to do a double award!.

August Recognition Award – John Payne

John was nominated three times, by three different people for two different acts.

Firstly John was nominated for his great contribution to the Maribyrnong Open Day, not only did he collaborate with the Engagement Team to plan the event, ensuring the site was clean and safe for community members, but he also volunteered on the day.

John was also nominated in recognition of his excellent people skills, communicating with staff and stakeholders across the project and the JV.

Good leadership, team management, looking out for people and customer focus were just a few of the SFP values John displayed during these events.

Congratulations John on a great contribution – enjoy your $150 gift card!

August Recognition Award – Igor Markovski

P6 is a complicated construction program, which is often difficult to interpret. As a more effective communication tool for this program, Igor pressed the Leadership Team to trial Turbo Chart, the output of which gives a single viewing page, making identifying resource and logic issues easier. This has already proven helpful on the North Yarra Main Project in discussions with stakeholders and the project team.

Igor saw the opportunity to improve the use of the program, showing Value-add Thinking, Relationship Management and Risk & Opportunity Management, in line with our SFP values.

Great work Igor enjoy your $150 gift card!

A shout out to the other August nominees:

  • Oren Levy
  • Anurit Patwardhan
  • Matt Borradale
  • Amanda Zammit
  • Dave Plunkett

Keep up the good work!
