January Reward & Recognition Award – Gustavo Flores
Gustavo took it upon himself to check the CCTV in the shaft over a non-working weekend and noticed one of the pumps wasn’t working and was starting to flood the shaft.
Gustavo promptly contacted the site supervisor who got a crew to get the pump going before the water rose to a level that may have caused significant issues. Gustavo’s action prevented a delay in the program, saved time, cost and improved the safety of the project.
Great work Gustavo!

February Reward & Recognition Award – Steve Cresp
While in the middle of the Winneke Tender and managing a large volume of clarifications for the ETP Centrifuge tender – Steve dropped everything to help the WTP 66kV tender team urgently pull together the estimate inputs, prepare governance documents, attend goverance reviews and update tender valuations, ensuring the tender was submitted on time.
Steve didn’t hesitate in providing support to the SFP team, to the detriment of his own tenders and personal time. Thanks for being such a great team player Steve.

The other January and February
Vikki Cabral
She takes new subcontractors through the site induction and creates immediate connections and rapport that has people seeking her out onsite, because they are so comfortable raising any concerns or ideas. Vikki is always ahead of the ball when it comes to ensuring plant and equipment is inducted appropriately and safe for use.
Louie Naldrett
Louie displays a genuine appreciation of others within the business, an example of this was identifying others in the business that would benefit from attending a course she’d been registered for and reaching out to the training organiser to secure them a place.
Murray White
Valuable input and collaboration in identifying all services in Elwood that will be critical when the project is awarded.
Andy McMahon
A so called simple job of raising a buried manhole lid 1.1m to ground level was to be undertaken. Andy believed the job was being rushed and put works on hold. The actual depth turning out to be 1.4m with another buried manhole within 0.8m. Not so simple after all!
Andrew James (AJ)
AJ actively cares about his team and our client, he checks in with his staff – our workload, welfare and home life. He is an easy talker and genuinely wants his team members to succeed, putting forward training opportunities, providing mentoring/ coaching and going above and beyond for the project.
Tania Conrad
Tania has done an amazing job keeping on top of all our PMRs, Fin Table and accruals, ensuring the successful commercial management of Essex St project.
